Cindy, thank you for bringing the point out concerning "Son of Man" being also a title of divinity. I do agree, and I feel it also brings out his authority as King of kings and Lord of lords because even though he was subject to the temptations and weaknesses of the flesh, he still ruled over them in obedience to the Father. This is why Jesus told his apostles (and us) "In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." (John 16:33) Through Jesus Christ as our King and Lord we too can overcome the world, just as Jesus did.
"To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne." (Revelations 3:21)

Hi there . . .

I look forward to checking out the rest of your site. I believe Jesus did use "Son of Man" to identify Himself with us. It is also used as a title of divinity unique to Jesus in Daniel 7:13-14 in other places. So, when Jesus called Himself the Son of Man in the presence of the Council, they knew exactly what He was saying and considered it blasphemous. You undoubtedly knew this already, but I think it's so cool I just had to mention it.

Thanks for putting this site together. It looks like it will be a great source of information.
