Memorial Day – Honoring Jesus and His Faithful and True

For a recent set of services that I preached, I created a presentation – overview on the Revelation of Jesus Christ. So today I thought it most appropriate to share it with you all in memory of the one who made it all possible. Here it is in a number of downloadable/presentation formats, whichever works for you:

It seems only appropriate that on Memorial Day we should honor the greatest military captain of all time: the Captain of our Salvation, Jesus Christ! Additionally, we should remember all those who have died and suffered for the defense and purpose of the Kingdom of God: the true and faithful today and throughout history.

“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.” ~ Revelation 19:11-16

Many have tried to overcome the mighty army and Kingdom of Jesus Christ, but his true army is pure and faithful to the end!

“These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.” ~ Revelation 17:14
