Is the Holy Spirit of God Revealing Jesus to Your Heart?

Burning Oil Lamp“…and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.” ~ Revelation 4:5

Here we see that it takes the Spirit of God to have the lamps of the candlestick give their light, which is the light of the church. This light illuminates where the throne of God is, the place where God is reigning in the hearts of those who are truly saved. These lamps burn before the throne because that is where the desire of all the saved, the church of God, is towards.

Similarly in Revelation 1:4 it states “and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne” showing it takes having the Spirit of God, in each of the seven churches, to be able to hear and understand the message. In agreement with this, at the end of his words to each church congregation in Revelation the 2nd and 3rd chapters Jesus exhorts with these exact same words each time: “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches”. It takes the Spirit of God in every church, and in every church age, to be able to compare spiritual things with spiritual. We know there is only one Holy Spirit. But here Jesus reveals the Holy Spirit as the “seven Spirits of God” because the same Holy Spirit can work in such drastically different ways that to man it is as if he was different. But yet it is still the one Spirit of God! (See the previous post “To Seven Churches, From the Seven Spirits”)

“Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.” ~ 1 Corinthians 12:4-7

Now you cannot “figure out” or receive this revelation unless the Spirit of God opens your eyes and shows you. If you do not humbly seek him to show you, you never will see it!

“But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” ~ 1 Corinthians 3:10-14

When in the proper Spirit of worship, then we will be able to spiritually see, hear, and understand, and take warning. This is how the Apostle John was able to receive the Revelation, because in Revelation 1:10 John states that “I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day” when I heard and saw what was revealed. Those who humbly obey, adore, and worship Jesus will be in the Spirit of worship – and will understand what Jesus reveals.

So what is your spirit like? Is it pure and holy like the Holy Spirit? Or is it lustful and sinful like the spirit of the world, and like the spirit of modern day so called “Christianity”? You must repent and forsake that spirit to be able to have the Holy Spirit reveal to you the fullness of God in Jesus Christ!

  1. Jesus bless your holy name and may the Holy spirit continue to fills us with hope, joy, Peace and Understanding of our Lord, Our Heavenly Father which gave us his precious son, I repent daily of my true sins, that the Holy spirit will reveal what is required of me to confess and be bless in the Lord Our God!!

    • Dear friend, our love and devotion to the Holy Spirit will never lead is into doing any sin. People can fall into sin and be forgiven, but that is the exception and not the pattern. The clear pattern for salvation in Word of God is for us to be delivered from sin and to not do it ever again. Now some people believe they cannot live without sin because they believe almost everything is a sin. But the Bible clearly teaches us that a human mistake, this is done unintentionally, is not a sin. But some people still believe it is. Others believe that temptations in the form of thoughts brought to our mind, are sin. But that is not true because Jesus did not sin and he was tempted in his mind but he did no sin. And the Scriptures clearly teach that we should follow in Jesus’s footsteps.

      1 Peter 2:21-22 KJV
For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:

  2. Holy friends of mine. Bless you all for our studies. Let truth outshine the words and reveal itself as it rightfully shall be understood. Let us become like Christ and do things greater, just as he commanded us. Let us mirror the heavens on earth so that we the Suns of God may become divine with our savior and Host.
Your Great Work is blessed within and it is our mission to reveal. Let us study the ritual. Let us question our motives and our understandings. God gifted us with the pleasure of enriching ourselves. Let us ascend these weak bodies tempted by earthy values and become one with our precious Godhead!

    Amen

    • Yes my friend! May we open the very depths of our hearts to God and let him humble us as he shows us how we really look to him. May we forsake our own desires and agendas that we might fulfill his will completely and uncorruptly in us and in all the body of Christ. Lord bless!

  3. Agreed brother! Imagine our simplicity upon the views of His level! If only we could fathom the level of dimensional sensation one would experience. Think of Enoch and how God took him to heaven with him and he explored the multitude of higher levels!
